As I've mentioned before, for the promotion of blogs to make it more widely known at least you have to submit to the two famous blog directory: technorati.com and feedburner.com.
Technorati is the largest blog directory at this time followed by blogsearch.com owned by google. Technorati not only functions as a directory of blogs, but also as Blogsearch, tags aggregator, tools to determine a website / blog whatever which tidal link your blog and online bookmarks. Here are step by step guide to maximize Technorati (this guide assuming you already sign-up/register in Technorati. If not please register first.)
1. Submit to blog directories and Tag Technorati

d. There is a Quick Claim menu, content dg id and password your blogspot.
e. Click the Quick Claim.
f. Fill a short description about your blog in the box you are available.
g. Put a tick in the "Include this blog in Technorati's Blog Finder"
h. The contents of 20 tags (categories) the most you like in the box you are available.
i. If you do not want to install facilities Technorati on your blog, then click Save Changes. Done.
j. If you want to install facilities Technorati (see example on this blog: http://purwarno-sastra-uisu.blogspot.com/) as Blogsearch, WHO links to this blog, etc., then ..
(I) put a tick in the menu "Show Technorati embed on my site"
(Ii) There is a preview of the view there, love / remove a tick which there is no love;
(Iii) Copy / paste the script code below, and enter in the sidebar of your blog template.
(Iv) Click Save Changes. Done.
2. Technorati Bookmarks / Favorites
How:
a. Click on the Favorites menu
b. Enter the address of your blog / website which you wish to save the box "Add a blog to your favorites"
c. Click ADD. Done.
Note:
- Bookmarks Technorati restrict loading to 50 address blog.
- Blog / address of any site you can enter, including your blog / website of your own.
- Enter online bookmark your blog in Technorati also will increase your blog exposure.
3. Profile
How:
1. Click the PROFILE menu.
2. Click the EDIT menu
3. The contents of data including your photo (if you want to show her picture.)
4. Click SAVE PROFILE. Done.
4. Who's Your Blog Link?
